Queens Archaeology Exhibit  
Second Floor Exhibit Rooms 
 

 "The Prehistory of Queens: Twelve Millenia of Human Development"  

The culmination of 35 years of Archaeological work by Archaeologist Edward J. Platt and the 
New York Institute of Anthropology, 
this foremost extant collection of pre-Columbian Queens Artifacts confirms Bayside as oldest carbon-14 dated continually inhabited site in coastal NY State..
