Bill Kalfa, retired member FDNY, Engine 290 23-years.  Received commendation letters from the Secretary of Air Force and the Secretary of the Army for his service to our country in World War II....having completed and surviving 30 missions as a ball turret gunner in the  B 17 Flying Fortress with the 8th Air Force. Commendations were presented by Assemblyman Andrew Raia.

                                                                                                                          

  



Dedication of the memorial to John Vigiano's son, Joseph and all the "first responders" of September 11, 2001, at Keyspan Park in Coney Island.
